SHOW ME THYSELF

2 Chronicles 9 "She said to the king, “The report I heard in my own country about your achievements and your wisdom is true. But I did not believe what they said until I came and saw with my own eyes. Indeed, not even half the greatness of your wisdom was told me; you have far exceeded the report I heard. How happy your people must be! How happy your officials, who continually stand before you and hear your wisdom! Praise be to the LORD your God, who has delighted in you and placed you on His throne as king to rule for the LORD your God. Because of the love of your God for Israel and His desire to uphold them forever, He has made you king over them, to maintain justice and righteousness.” YES Our LORD loves us LAVISHLY! DANIEL 2:48 "Then the king placed Daniel in a high position and lavished many gifts on him. He made him ruler over the entire province of Babylon and placed him in charge of all its wise men." I JOHN 3:1 "See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him."

God's Spirit speaks to our spirit. If you are wondering what God has called you to do ~ Don't wait for an audible voice to tell you. Begin to do that which you are inspired to do. God cannot drive a parked car ~ the Spirit cannot tell us to turn left if we are not moving. Listen to what the Spirit is saying while you drive, while you work, while you pray, and while you are still ~ and PRAISE God for Who He is, the King of Kings who revealed Himself to Elijah, Moses, Saul, the Samaritan woman and you and me. AMEN ~ Do you want to HEAR and SEE the divine revelation of Christ Himself? Our Lord God Almighty shows Himself to us in His word and He invites us to ASK HIM to reveal His Glory to us. JOHN 14:21 "Whoever has My commands and keeps them is the one who loves Me. The one who loves Me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show Myself to them.” Lord Jesus let Your Glory rain in me, give me reigning ears that are tuned to Your voice, give me eyes that see Your glory filling the earth. 1 Corinthians 2 “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”the things God has prepared for those who love him — these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words. The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments, for, “Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ."Lord Jesus we come to Your throne boldy and ASK that You reveal, disclose, manifest and uncover Your glory inside our minds as You draw us CLOSE in fellowship and speak to our hearts. PSALM 78 "My people, hear my teaching; listen to the words of My mouth. I will open My mouth with a parable; I will utter hidden things, things from of old— things we have heard and known, things our ancestors have told us. We will not hide them from their descendants; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, His power, and the wonders He has done. He decreed statutes for Jacob and established the law in Israel, which He commanded our ancestors to teach their children, so the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children. Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget his deeds but would keep his commands. They would not be like their ancestors— a stubborn and rebellious generation, whose hearts were not loyal to God, whose spirits were not faithful to him." Lord Almighty God who is FAITHFUL to reveal Himself to those who love Him - Thank You Father for filling me, for giving me the Living Water so that I will not be thirsty again. MY SONG to JESUS taken from PSALM 18 NIV
"I love You, O Lord, my Strength.
The Lord is my Rock, my Fortress
and my Deliverer; my God is my Rock
in Whom I take refuge... The Lord
thundered from heaven; the Voice of
the Most High resounded ~
He reached down from on high
and took HOLD OF ME!
He drew me out of deep waters.
He rescued me from my powerful enemy,
from my foes, from my woes ~
My God brought me out into a SPACIOUS place
He rescued me because
He delighted in me.
You, O Lord, keep my lamp burning.
My God turns my darkness into light!
With Your help I can advance against a troop
With My God I can scale a wall!
As for God, His way is perfect ~
The Word of the Lord is flawless!
The Lord lives! Praise be my Rock!
Exalted by God my Savior ~
Therefore I will sing praises
To His Holy Name ~ and blog my brag
of all that He has done in me!
Halleluiah and Amen

  1. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you (1 Thess 5:16-18).

One of the greatest desires that should fill believer’s hearts is to know the will of God for their lives. To know the will of God is one of the most popular prayer requests among Christians. I have always held the conviction that if you want to know the will of God, you must be diligent to know the word of God, for it is in the word of God that you will find the mind of God. While it is true that the Scriptures will not specifically tell you where to live, who to marry, what kind of career to pursue; they will establish a sure foundation and provide clear principles when making such decisions. In our passage this morning we are given three clear exhortations as to the will of God for our lives:

It is the will of God that we rejoice always-Whatever our circumstances may be, we are called to always rejoice. Rejoice that your name is written in the book of life. Rejoice that your sins have been forgiven and you have been cleansed of all unrighteousness. Rejoice that you are known and loved by God and that He will provide and protect all the days of your life.

The will of God for our lives is that we pray without ceasing- To be able to rejoice always, we must at the same time pray without ceasing; the two are intimately connected. This means more than just dumping all our request and
desires on God. It is rather to be in constant conversation and communion with the Holy Spirit. It is to be seeking the mind of God and praising the goodness of God.

Finally, the will of God for our lives is in everything give thanks-In everything; in good times, in bad times, in all times give thanks. If we are praying without ceasing, the Holy Spirit will minister to our hearts in such a way as to help us to see the goodness of God towards us in all circumstances. When we are walking in His ways and yielded to His will we will be filled with praise and thanksgiving that the world simply cannot understand.

Now you know the will of God for your life, blessed are you if you do it.
